Analog or digital cameras, we are all convinced digital cameras outperformed the analog systems many years ago. But is this the same for 3CCD cameras? The 3 CCD camera was extremely popular in the 90’s and 00’s. The color fidelity is superb. You can zoom in to a pixel and the color fidelity is outstanding.

The technology of smaller pixels allows Bayer based sensors to generate excellent results. Which likely doesn’t need a prism with multiple sensors. But... you cannot zoom in to a pixel.

We like to discuss with 3 sensor users in the microscopic market what their needs are.
