Detection of oil and water in a cost effective way is a challenge for energy companies. How can you create a detector which can observe if your factory leaks oil or just water? We have been developing multiple case studies where transmission and reflection comes together in imaging applications. We are convinced that multispecteal imaging is a next step in solving applications which are today addressed by hyperspectral approach. But this grating technology cannot be applied in volume applications in a cost effective way.
