Foreign body sorting

The product Model10  is a breakthrough in the field of foreign body sorting, as it uses a prism sensor and a polarization sensor that are co-site and timely recording images of the product stream.

This means that the product can capture and analyze the spectral and polarimetric properties of the product and the foreign body simultaneously, using a single camera. This allows for a high accuracy and high speed sorting process, as the product can distinguish between different types of foreign bodies, such as metal, plastic, paper, wood, glass, etc.

In above picture model 10 is observing different material like plastics, textile, transparent film but also a feather. The goal of the sorting is to remove the foreign body from the cotton. Viewing the raw data streams (RGB, 0, 45, 90 and 135 degrees) the data between the data streams shows perfect contrasts.
